1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Aplyd (“the Service”), operated by Aplyd Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Aplyd is an AI-powered job application platform that automates job discovery, resume tailoring, and application submission on your behalf. The Service uses artificial intelligence to match your profile with job opportunities and, with your authorization, submit applications to employers through their public application systems.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring the accuracy of your profile information, resume, and preferences
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

4. Automated Applications

By enabling the auto-apply feature, you expressly authorize Aplyd to:

• Submit job applications on your behalf to employers and job platforms
• Use your profile data, resume, and cover letters in those applications
• Access publicly available job listings and employer career pages
• Generate tailored cover letters and resume variations using AI

You understand that applications submitted by the Service are binding and represent you to potential employers. You are solely responsible for reviewing your profile accuracy and application preferences before enabling auto-apply.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Aplyd offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorize recurring charges to your payment method
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false or misleading information in your profile or applications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to spam employers or submit fraudulent applications
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, features, and content, is owned by Aplyd Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. Your content (resume, profile data, preferences) remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate cover letters, tailor resumes, and score job matches. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before it is used in applications. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in interviews or job offers.

9. No Guarantee of Employment

Aplyd does not guarantee job interviews, offers, or employment outcomes. The Service facilitates the application process but does not control employer decisions. Success rates depend on many factors including your qualifications, market conditions, and employer preferences.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aplyd Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: lost profits, lost job opportunities, damage to reputation, or data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aplyd Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
